The Miracle Girl
Eighteen-year-old Sara wants to spread her wings. But she hasn't counted on her overly concerned mother Paula and religiously crazy father Marcel. Their suffocating behavior has an adverse effect on Sara and she rebels. After yet another heated argument, she sees no other solution than to flee home. She crosses paths with Karel, a sixty-year-old man, at a log cabin that he uses as a country retreat. They quickly become close friends and Karel helps Sara hide from her father's search party and the police. But who is Karel really? And what does he want from Sara? Little by little, Sara uncovers an important secret. The Miracle Girl is a story about a family situation that threatens to get out of hand because of a free-spirited teenager.
