To the outside world he seemed to be recovering quickly, but in reality he was going through hell.

Author Nico Dick (1970) took his first steps in journalism in 2001 as co-founder and editor of www.cyclo-cross.info.
In 2005 he joined Het Laatste Nieuws as a cycling journalist, the newspaper for which he is still active on a freelance basis.
He recently launched a new project with www.veldritkrant.be. Straight from the Heart is his book debut.
