Classicist Geert Heymans retranslated the Latin text of Thomas More's Utopia into sparkling Dutch. Between the chapters, journalist Dirk Tieleman lets modern thinkers Tinneke Beeckman, Marc Buelens, Bea Cantillon, Geert Noels, Rik Torfs, Herman Van Rompuy tell what a book from 500 years ago can mean today. Each from their own perspective, they reflect on Utopia then and now. Fabio Wuytack, director of the documentary Back to Utopia, concludes the book with a visit to various places in the world where he visualizes themes from Utopia.
